LEGAL BASIS OF DATA PROCESSING:

Data processing by Yummee Online Ltd. (represented by István Grünstein, CEO) is based on the voluntary consent of the User in accordance with Section 5 (1) a) of Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information (Infotv), as well as on the basis of Act CVIII of 2001 on Certain Issues of Electronic Commerce Services and Information Society Services. The User provides consent for specific data processing activities through the use of the Website (www.yummee.eu), registration, and voluntary provision of relevant data.

PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING:

The purpose of data processing by Yummee Online Ltd. is to fulfill restaurant reservations and send newsletters to users who have subscribed to the newsletter.

SCOPE OF PERSONAL DATA:

During browsing on www.yummee.eu without registration, the User is not required to provide any data. During registration, the User is required to provide the following data:

PRINCIPLES OF DATA PROCESSING

Yummee Online Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Data Controller" or "Service Provider") declares that the data processing related to the operation of the online restaurant reservation service is in compliance with the currently applicable legal regulations. When handling user data, we adhere to and comply with the following relevant legal provisions.

The purpose of this Privacy Statement is to define the principles and rules for the handling of personal data and other data provided and made accessible to the operators of the yummee.eu online restaurant reservation website during the utilization of its services. [Act CXII of 2011] Among the data provided during user orders (restaurant reservations), only the name, phone number, and email address can be considered personal data under certain conditions.

LEGAL BASIS OF DATA PROCESSING

The legal basis for the processing of the personal data provided by the user during the use of yummee.eu is the voluntary consent of the user, based on Section 5 (1) of the Act on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information (Infotv.) and Section 13/A (3) of Act CVIII of 2001.

PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING

The purpose of data processing is solely to facilitate communication with users, potentially provide personalized services, and maintain contact resulting from the ordered services, primarily related to restaurant reservations.

CONSENT TO DATA PROCESSING

Upon registration, users give their consent for the Data Controller, Yummee Online Ltd., to process their mandatory data for transactions (primarily restaurant table reservations) on the www.yummee.eu website and for the use of the Yummee application.

DATA SECURITY

The Data Controller strives to implement all reasonable measures to ensure the security of the information technology systems used, particularly with regard to preventing unauthorized access to data stored on the website.

THE USER'S RIGHTS REGARDING DATA PROCESSING

The User has the right to request information about the processing of their personal data and can request the correction or deletion of their personal data. The User can make requests for the deletion or modification of their personal data, as well as for information regarding data processing, in the following ways:

Upon the User's request, the Data Controller is obliged to provide information about the data it processes, the legal basis, purpose, and duration of the data processing. The Data Controller is required to provide the requested information in writing, within the shortest possible time but no later than 30 days from the submission of the request. The User can also request the correction or modification of their data at any time.

The Service Provider respects and safeguards personal data. The use of Contracting Party's data is in accordance with the applicable regulations of the Data Protection Act. The Service Provider retains the User's data only for the performance of the contract and for the subsequent proof of the contract's terms during the existence of the contract. The Service Provider is obligated to retain the Contracting Party's data for a minimum of 8 years according to Section 169 of Act C of 2000.

The Service Provider takes all reasonable measures to ensure the secure storage of data but does not assume responsibility for data loss, damage, or unauthorized access caused by natural disasters, criminal activities, or other unavoidable reasons.

DURATION OF DATA PROCESSING

The processing of the User's personal data starts with registration and lasts until the deletion of the registration. The operator stores the data without a specific time limit, but after receiving a written request for deletion from the users, the operator deletes the data within 3 working days. The operator addresses data modification, data request, data deletion, and data processing information inquiries from individual users and responds as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days.

THE CIRCLE OF PERSONS WITH ACCESS TO DATA

During the use of the yummee.eu website and the Yummee application, the provided personal data is primarily accessible to Yummee Online Ltd. (represented by István Grünstein) and its internal employees. Yummee Online Ltd. handles the data confidentially and does not disclose it to third parties, except for the processing of orders (table reservations), financial settlement, accounting, and necessary cases related to the operation of the website. Yummee Online Ltd. may engage a data processor for the operation of the yummee.eu website, who processes data based on a contract with Yummee Online Ltd. Yummee Online Ltd. is not responsible for the data processing practices of such external entities.

In addition to the above, the transmission of personal data concerning the User will only take place in cases explicitly required by law or with the User's consent.

MODIFICATION OF DATA

Users can request or make modifications to their data as detailed below: Users can request Yummee Online Ltd. to make changes to their personal data in case of changes (such as correcting inaccuracies or errors in provided data). The modification will be carried out by Yummee Online Ltd. after submitting a written request. The modification request can be sent to the email address info@yummee.eu.

Registered users can also modify their personal data themselves by logging into the yummee.eu website or the Yummee application and clicking on the "My Profile" menu. To unsubscribe from newsletters, users can click on the unsubscribe link provided in the newsletters, or they can send a deletion request to the email address info@yummee.eu.

RIGHTS OF INDIVIDUALS AFFECTED BY DATA PROCESSING

Users have the right to request information about their personal data processed by Yummee Online Ltd. (represented by István Grünstein, CEO) at any time and can modify their data in the manner specified in the Terms and Conditions. Upon the User's request, Yummee Online Ltd. will provide information about the data related to the User, the purpose and legal basis of the data processing, its duration, and details about who has or had access to their data and for what purpose. Yummee Online Ltd. will provide the requested information in writing within 30 days from the submission of the request.

Users are entitled to request the deletion of their data by sending a letter via postal mail to Yummee Online Ltd. or by sending an electronic mail from the email address used for registration.

Yummee Online Ltd. will delete the data within 3 working days upon receipt of the request; however, this action will be irreversible. Deletion does not apply to data processing required by law (e.g., accounting regulations), which Yummee Online Ltd. will retain for the duration specified by law.

Additionally, Users can request the blocking of their data. Yummee Online Ltd. will block the personal data of the User upon request or if it can be assumed based on available information that deletion would harm the legitimate interests of the User. The blocked personal data can only be processed as long as the purpose of data processing that prevented its deletion exists.

Notification about correction, blocking, or deletion must be communicated to the User and all parties to whom the data was transmitted for the purpose of data processing. This notification can be omitted if it doesn't compromise the legitimate interest of the User considering the purpose of data processing.

If Yummee Online Ltd. cannot or does not fulfill the User's request for correction, blocking, or deletion, it will provide a written explanation of the factual and legal reasons for rejecting the request within 30 days from the receipt of the request.

Furthermore, the User can object to the processing of their personal data. Yummee Online Ltd. will examine the objection within the shortest possible time, but no later than 15 days from the receipt of the objection. After evaluating its legitimacy, Yummee Online Ltd. will inform the requester in writing about the decision made.

WEBSITE VISITORS' TECHNICAL DATA RECORDING

During the visit to the yummee.eu website, the system records users' IP addresses, from which, in certain cases, it might be possible to infer the identity of the individuals concerned. Additionally, it records the operating system, browser type, and the address of the visited page. The data recording primarily serves a technical purpose necessary for the continuous operation of the system. The further purpose of data recording is to analyze user behavior, create visitation statistics, which contribute to a higher level of service. Data obtained from the log files is not linked to other information by the operator and is not used to identify the user. Placement of an anonymous visitor identifier ("cookie"): an anonymous visitor identifier ("cookie") is a unique series of characters capable of identifying the visitor's computer and storing profile information, which the web server places on the visitor's computer. Such a character sequence by itself cannot identify the visitor in any way, only the recognition of the visitor's computer. It does not contain a name, email address, or any other personal information. Acceptance of cookies is not necessary for browsing the website, but the login (table reservation) function will not work if cookie acceptance is disabled in the browser. The system uses trackers in the following places with the following lifetimes. Several of these are only used when specific functions are enabled. Process identifiers (session, etc.) - by default, 1 hour; based on specific settings, up to 365 days.

USER REGISTRATION

If a user wants to make a reservation through the Yummee service, they are required to provide necessary booking information during their first reservation. This includes the user's email address, name, and a password for later login. During registration, the user can also indicate their interest in receiving newsletters. The request for newsletters can be canceled by the user at any time. Depending on the type of registration, the system confirms the registration via email. The user is obligated to keep the provided password confidential. If, following the correct input of the user's unique identifier and password during authentication, the user's data falls into the possession of an unauthorized third party resulting in damages or disadvantages, the Data Controller is not responsible. By providing their email addresses, users give consent to the service provider sending them technical messages. The operator deletes registered data from the system upon request. For security reasons, the deletion request will only be valid if the user confirms the deletion request via email, thus preventing others from intentionally or accidentally deleting different entries from the registration database.

NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIPTIONS

On the yummee.eu website, in addition to registration, newsletters can be requested through other means as well. By clicking the subscribe button, the user agrees to receive newsletters from the operator. Newsletter subscription can be canceled by the user at any time. Due to legal requirements, newsletter subscriptions must always be confirmed by the user. To do this, an email is sent to the user, and they need to click on a link to confirm. Unconfirmed subscriptions will be deleted after a waiting period of seven working days. Of course, if desired, users can subscribe again.

WRITING REVIEWS

For writing reviews related to individual restaurants or submitting forum posts, registration is always required. The name and the opinion related to the restaurant will be made public, so only provide a review if you are comfortable with this.
